Welcome to the Trey Stone show. This show is going to teach you how to invest in real estate or other businesses, where your passive income meets or exceeds your monthly bills, so you can become financially independent. We'll have many guests from the real estate industry, but also from other businesses where people have found financial freedom and success.

It's going to be a place that I hope you'll find inspirational, and where you'll learn what it's like to have a coach or mentor take you step by step throughout the process. You know, I've owned over $350 million in assets, and I started out with absolutely nothing. So if I can do it, you can do it too.

What I would tell you about typical people trying to get started in real estate is that they don't know who to go to or where to turn. This show should be one of the places you can turn to get started, to find mentorship and some of the knowledge and techniques that you need to be successful. I served as the 2014 president of the Houston Apartment Association.

I've owned just under 6,000 apartment units in my portfolio, and before I owned those apartment units, I also owned single-family homes. I even once bought the mall where I grew up and where I used to go sit on Santa's lap with my mom every year because it needed some improvement and renovation, and I wanted to give back to the community and make a little bit of money while I was in the process of doing that. So between owning various types of commercial and residential real estate, I've been able to go out and build wealth for my family and achieve all of the goals and more that I originally set.
