3 Decades of Real Estate, Etched in Stone
Trey Stone
Originally from Pasadena, Texas, Trey grew up in a part of the Greater Houston area that many would wince and grimace at. Determined to change the circumstance, he focused on the one thing they always tell you to focus on as a kid, your grades. He listened.
His efforts paid off to score him a full scholarship to the University of Texas Austin where, unbeknownst, he would embark on his real estate career with the guidance and support of a remarkable professor. Completing a degree in Finance, Trey also left university a landlord to his first single-family property.
THE REST IS ETCHED IN STONE, AND A NEW DAY IS HERE.
New Deals to Be Made
Today, Trey Stone is a 21X serial multifamily real estate investor, and counting. His experience spans mall ownership, multifamily, single family, and ranch land. You should ask him about that mall sometime, it’s quite the story.
Trey has worked with over 400 families spread across almost three decades. He retired his family and stepped off the scene ten years ago when his philosophies of the market proved a bad time to invest in real estate. What with the nature of today’s market, he’s been summoned back in by deals-going-bad that need saving. It’s a cycle Trey understands well and has re-emerged, ready to capitalize alongside his investment partners, once again.
A man of his word on transforming properties, he is reuniting with past investors, and inviting new partners to the table.
Businessman, Proud Father & Husband
Trey is a proud father of his 3 children and continues to live in the Greater Houston area with his beautiful wife, Erika. You’ll quickly come to find that Trey takes a family-first approach to each day.
The family is immersed in the wonder of sports, school, new adventures, time at the ranch, and simply time together.
He enjoys the study and practice of Jiu Jitsu, and doesn’t mind a nice glass of scotch from time to time. When he isn’t at an event for the family, he is likely doing the thing he does unequivocally well, vetting multifamily real estate investment deals that are ripe for the taking.
In 2014, Stone served as President of the Houston Apartment Association and has won several awards including Owner of the Year at the local, state, and national levels. He has owned over 6,000 units of multifamily real estate in his career and continues to add more.
